World scholar's cup
What is World Scholar's Cup?
World Scholar's Cup is an event where students from over 20 countries participate in educational and fun activities. Every child is part of a group with two other people with the same age. Every group gets to go to a local round and participate in 4 categories: scholar's bowl, team debate, collaborative writing and the scholars challenge. Every group has a fair chance of making it to a global round, if your group qualifies you have an option to go to any of the 6 countries and compete against other schools and if you win the global rounds you get the opportunity to go to Yale university for the final round. The world scholars cup gives great opportunities to kids and teens.

Qualifications
My group is part of the World Scholar's Cup and we have been qualified to go to the global round this year. We had to compete in a series of 4 events against other schools to determine if we were going to qualify. After qualifying we got to pick one of 6 countries to go to and compete in the same series of events but against other schools from different countries. We are fundraising for this event that we are lucky to be apart of. This trip costs a lot! If everyone could donate at least 1 dollar it will help us out a lot.
