The Scholars Bowl
Every group gets a clicker which is a device that is linked to a main screen that has a series of questions. The group has to discuss and use the clicker to answer the multiple choice questions within the time limit.

Team debate
The team debate is when two groups debate over a topic given by the judge. Both teams will have 20 minutes to discuss and research the topic . After the 15 minutes the groups will start debating, in between each debate the teams will have 60 seconds to add on more information. There will be three rounds total and every round will be against a different team.

Collaborative writing
Each team has around 20 minutes to discuss about the topics they would like to write about. Every team member has to choose a different topic to write about then they will have their own time to write. Once the writing time limit is up the group will have a few minutes to review their work with each other.

The Scholar's challenge
the scholar's challenge is an individual event, every student has to answer a series of 120 questions within the time limit. The test is based on the 6 subjects, Science,literature,social-studies,special areas,Art, Music and History.
